For the 2024-25 academic year, we are collaborating with Kibworth Mead Academy to offer a custom travel service for its students.

We are excited to announce that we will be providing a dedicated travel service for the students of Kibworth Mead Academy. As this service is privately operated by us, we can fully manage the routes, timings, and overall operations, ensuring your children are transported to and from school in the most suitable and safest way possible.

Below are the prices for our inaugural academic year. Due to factors like the current inflation rate and staffing challenges within the coach travel industry, the pricing reflects these considerations. We understand these costs may be inconvenient, but they are essential to ensure a safe and reliable school travel service from the start.

Bus Passes & The Coach​

During the application process, you will need to provide a “passport-style” photo for the student’s bus pass. This photo can be taken with your phone but must meet the following criteria: it should be in portrait orientation, show the student’s head and shoulders, be taken against a blank or plain background, and the student must be looking directly at the camera.

The bus passes will be physical and unique to each child, allowing them to travel on their designated service route. Students must carry their pass at all times while traveling. We will conduct periodic checks to ensure the validity of bus passes for everyone’s safety.

All our coaches are equipped with seat belts for every seat, which must be worn during travel. Standing is strictly prohibited, and every student is guaranteed a seat. The driver will assist with any issues on the vehicle. For further assistance, please email schooltravel@fleckers.co.uk.

Order a replacement bus pass

If a bus pass has become lost or damaged, you will need to order a replacement. Replacement passes cost £10 each and will be delivered within 5-7 days.

FAQs

Under no circumstances will students be required to stand on the coach. Ensuring the safety of minors is our top priority, so we guarantee that every student will have a seat. Our coaches are never overfilled to maintain this safety standard.

Absolutely, always. Every seat on our coaches is equipped with a seatbelt because we take passenger safety extremely seriously.

A £50 deposit is required during your application to secure a spot on the coach, as spaces are limited. This deposit is non-refundable but will be credited toward your total balance.

With our termly instalment payment option, the annual cost of the service is divided over three terms. We use GoCardless to collect these payments, we will email you a link to register your subscription which will take a direct debit payment three time, once in August, once in November, and finally once in February.

Please note, this is not a pay-as-you-go option. It is an annual commitment, and the termly installments are offered to spread out the cost.
